El Estado de la Unión y Ministry

Es como si me estuviese tomando vacaciones del blog, ¿no? Es el efecto post-Creature. Si se fijan, fue igual el año pasado. Por cierto que la recepción que tuvieron con Sympathy for the Creature 2 superó mis expectativas. Escribir en internet así se siente muchas veces como navegar el océano en una bañera y gritas al cielo y no sabes quién te oye. Saber que la vaina traspasa la barrera de la gente que etiqueto en facebook (and I don't tag 200 people) es la clase de cosas en las que es mejor no pensar mucho. No sé si les gustó porque no dejan comentarios y es un error vincular tráfico con aceptación, pero sí es agradable ver cómo las visitas van aumentando más allá del mes de octubre, que es donde pensé que todo quedaría (sort of like Creature 2015, that's why I promote it from time to time).
 

He seguido escribiendo, pero ficción, la clase de cosas que no se ajustan bien a un formato como este. Tengo también el borrador de un par de artículos que verán por acá tan pronto como me siente a editarlos.

I’ve learned that when I’m focused on articles, I’m a very niche writer; I could write about Dr. Strange, videogames or google whatever is popular now, and know that it’ll report me more hits and likes, which is the trap of the internet content creator; Instead I’ll go write about the Ramones or Micah Ian Wright (more on that soon) and the group who’s gonna read that is very specific, but very appreciative. Gives sense to it all.
